Betty Buell "Being a lifelong resident of Barber County has always been a source of pride to me. I was pleased, therefore, as I began my association with the South Central Community Foundation, to learn their goals and aspirations for south central Kansas were the same as mine." |
She was raised on her family's farm south of Medicine Lodge, which she and her siblings still own, and have since lived in Medicine Lodge. The small town atmosphere, good schools, churches and health care made it an ideal place for her and her husband to raise their daughter and two sons. Her years of being a wife, homemaker and active volunteer in this community have continued that feeling of pride and hope for the future. | |

Eunice Proctor Member since 2002 “SCCF is a wonderful organization which offers people a way to continue to support organizations and charities that were important to them during their lifetime. Through endowments, annual gifts will continue following their death. This is a way to give back to a community that has been an important part of a person’s life and to help maintain or improve the quality of life in that community.” |
Eunice Proctor, R.N. has been retired from Pratt Regional Medical Center for five years. During her nearly thirty-seven years there she was a staff nurse, Vice-President for Nursing for ten years and Director of Community Services.
